My interest in regenerative medicine began during my social service internship at the “20 de Noviembre” National Medical Center, where I gained solid training in advanced cell culture techniques and bioprocesses for tissue regeneration. This experience was the starting point of my commitment to innovative and high-impact medicine, leading me to co-found StemBiotech in 2021, a company focused on the production and development of biotechnology in the field of cell regeneration.
Throughout my career, I have worked on multiple regenerative medicine research projects, collaborating in the development of advanced bioprocesses and the identification of biomarkers for degenerative diseases. I have cared for hundreds of patients, applying advanced knowledge in regenerative medicine while continuously staying updated on best clinical practices. Currently, I am an attending physician in the Neonatology department at the Hospital de la Mujer, a role that allows me to provide specialized care to newborns. Previously, I was the director of the outpatient clinic at Hospital Ángeles Culiacán and later the medical director at Grupo Premier.
My clinical experience includes specialized management of patients in neonatology and intensive care, especially during my time at the General Hospital of Culiacán under the direction of SEDENA, where I was honored as a national hero for my service during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, I frequently give talks and lectures on regenerative medicine to doctors and patients, participating as a speaker at national events.
I am currently finishing a master’s in regenerative medicine at the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Biotecnología Médica, further deepening my specialization and continuing my commitment to excellence and innovation in medicine.
Outside of medicine, I have a passion for hiking and wildlife watching, activities that deeply connect me with nature and well-being. I also enjoy volunteering in indigenous communities, where I collaborate on health and community development projects. Additionally, I play the violin and other string instruments, a skill that I consider a source of relaxation and personal expression.
My goal is to contribute to the development of advanced regenerative solutions that improve my patients’ quality of life and push the boundaries of modern medicine, both in clinical practice and biomedical research.
